John Terry's Catch of the Day
So how do multi-millionaire, title-winning footballers relax on their day off?
A trip to the shops to stock up on sharp suits and ties they can fashion into massive knots? Spend the day lounging around their mock tudor mansions? Or simply hit the town for a night of drinking champagne and bad dancing in a nightclub?
Not if you're Chelsea and England captain John Terry. No, the 'ard as nails centre half likes nothing better than getting up at the crack of dawn with a packet of Fisherman's Friends in his pocket and heading down to a lake for a spot of angling.
Terry said: “I really got into fishing when I was younger and would spend hours attempting to make the elusive big catch.
“Obviously it’s more difficult to find the time these days but when I get a quiet moment I tend to go off, rod in hand." Ok John, that's enough about your private life...
But it seems hiss patience has finally paid off, after he landed this 29lbs mirror carp on one of his recent trips. And you should have seen the one that got away!
