Katy Perry pouting in sexy West Ham basque at the MTV EMAs picture special

In possibly the best thing to happen to West Ham United since Trevor Brooking stooped to tie his shoelaces and ended up scoring the winning goal in the 1980 FA Cup Final , Katy Perry stepped out at the MTV EMAs last night wearing this eye-catching claret and blue ensemble.

Ms Perry, of course, is the better half of comedian and West Ham nut Russell Brand, so one can only assume this little number was sported for his benefit - particularly as his nickname Rusty was emblazoned across her backside (although this could have been a coded reference to the form of the Hammers' defence this season).

Still, we're sure you'll agree that the girl done good. And if in the wake of Carlton Cole's hamstring injury, Giafranco Zola needs a little something extra upfront for the visit of Everton on Sunday, well... we're sure you can insert your own punchline there.
