3PM Extra: The best things we've found on the internet today - Tuesday, February 9
Almost hometime, and here we are again with another selection of good stuff we've found on the web...
1) Pantywaist popsters Savage Garden were a disgrace to the barbies/tinnies/sports/Sheilas reputation of the Australian nation and none of their crimes against music were as egregious as Truly Madly Deeply - which happened to be named after the most appalling British film of the 1980s. But when you hear it like this, in a clever Valentines viral video from Puma... actually no, it's still horrible.
2) We're always suspicious when the words "hilarious football anecdote" are bandied about, but this - from Marc Bircham on ESPN Classic - is genuinely very funny. And if you're not convinced, it involves a kit man, a hotel room, a python and the delicate art of "giving a snake options".
3) It's Arsenal v Liverpool on Wednesday night, and hearing the two names together reminds us of the brilliance of the late, great Brian Moore. One minute he's cocking it up spectacularly as Liverpool attack in injury time ("Barnes will not be denied... but he is"), the next he's pulling out the single greatest line of football commentary ever.
To balance the books for Liverpool fans, have a classic Soccer Saturday (on a Wednesday) moment from Captain Beaky.
