Maradona gets Muller-ed, Americans get soccer at last, and Forlan's home videos in 3PM Extra

We've checked all the channels twice - even those up in the 800s or so with the subtitles and everything - but still can't find any football on the telly. So, unless you want to watch a load of toffs and brats bat a ball back and forth over a net all afternoon, then check these beauties out instead...

1) Now this is genius. Back in March, Argentina beat Germany 1-0 in a friendly in Munich. At the post-match press conference, deranged manager Diego Maradona took great offence at the spotty Herbert he was being asked to share a table with, and demanded in traditional diva style that either the 'ballboy' went, or he did.

And the actual identity of the youth who was forced to make way for the ego? One Thomas Muller, the Bayern Munich forward who had just made his international debut in the game Maradona watched, and who so tormented England last week.

Let's hope dappy Diego recognises him when the two teams line-up tomorrow afternoon...

2) Who says the Americans don't get soccer? Here's chat show host Jimmy Kimmel expertly skewering the senseless tedium of Japan versus Paraguay with an expertise - and, indeed, sense of humour - that would be beyond many of his compatriots on this side of the Atlantic...

3) Former Manchester United flop (as we're contractually obliged to call him) Diego Forlan has been keeping a video diary of his time in South Africa with Uruguay. This - admittedly not all that exciting - clip of his team-mates enjoying an informal barbecue does, at least, offer England fans and, of course, players, the chance to see what a happy and successful World Cup training camp looks like,
