Bebe's horror miss for Portugal, US keeper cock-up and Rooney comes clean

1) On the face of it, not a bad week for Manchester United's £7m street urchin Bebe. Not only did he make Fergie's Champions League squad after all, but the player who has been rumoured to be struggling in training since arriving from Vitoria Guimaraes managed to score for Portugal's U-21s against Macedonia on Tuesday.So vindication then for Sir Alex, who has been even redder in the face than usual over the criticism of his sight-unseen surprise buy. Or is it? Because Bebe also missed this one from close range...
And his goal had a wee assist from the keeper...
2) Joe Hart had his first dodgy England game against the Swiss on Tuesday. But, to be fair, he did a bit better than DC United's Bill Hamid, seen here cocking it up royally against Columbus Crew in the MLS...
