Posh buys David Beckham two micro pigs for Christmas

Victoria Beckham has bought husband David a crackling Christmas pressie – two micro pigs, writes 3am 's Clemmie Moodie.

She has splashed out £1,400 on the latest must-have celebrity designer pets.

Posh, 35, took delivery of the nine-inch, 13lb porkers earlier this week.

She has already nicknamed them Elton and David after good friends Elton John and his partner David Furnish.

But insiders say David is likely to have the final say on choosing their names – and is said to be keen on Pinky and Perky.

Our snout says: “What can you possibly buy the multi-millionaire, superstar footballer who has absolutely everything?

“In the case of David Beckham, the answer is, obviously, a pair of cuddly designer piglets.

“Victoria fell in love with them and realised she’d found the perfect present.”

In true Posh style, the pampered pedigree pets will be lapping up a life of luxury at the family’s Beckingham Palace mansion in Herts.

Our source said: “Micro pigs are incredibly clean and easy to house-train. They will be given the run of the place and could even end up watching TV on David and Victoria’s laps.”

The miniature pot-bellied Gloucester Old Spot cross-breed are also pretty tidy – so the house shouldn’t look like a pig-sty.

And while Posh may have been stuggling with her gift ideas, they really seem to have saved her Beck-on.
