Lokomotiv Moscow

Robinho is still desperate to avoid having to return to Manchester City from his loan spell at Santos, but just in case, he has just renewed the lease on his £2m Cheshire mansion to run to the end of the year. (The Times)

Former Chelsea boss Claudio Ranieri has admitting he wants to sing Arsenal defender William Gallas , for his current club Roma . The Italian boss brought Gallas to England when he was boss at Stamford Bridge and is keen to nab the Frenchman again now - this time on a free transfer as Gallas's Arsenal contract expires in the summer. (Daily Mail)

Arsenal are tracking Uruguayan sensation Abel Hernandez , who has been drawing admiring looks from all over Europe since his move from his home club Penarol to Serie A side Palermo this season. The 19-year-old striker is rated at £9million and has four goals in 16 appearances for the Italian side. (The Sun)

Birmingham boss Alex McLeish has pleaded with owner Carson Yeung to spend big this summer in a bid to keep City's progress going. "If we want to remain a Premier League team we've got to keep up with the Joneses. We probably need to spend a bit more than we did last year," he said. (The Sun)
