*places moved from last week's Alternate Premier League table
Arsenal are the team providing the APL's (Alternate Premier League's) most notable position change this week. Their 4-1 win against 5th placed Bolton earned them 7.41 points, compared with Chelsea's 5.46 points for beating bottom placed West Ham, and boosted the Gunners to the top of the table. Chelsea are still yet to play against a team outside the bottom three, so all of their wins have earned them comparatively less points than Arsenal who have played stronger opposition. Chelsea could boost their points tally next weekend however, when they play 4th placed Blackpool at home.
Fulham are this week's biggest movers in the APL, up from 12th to 5th. Fulham are undefeated and three of their four results have come against teams higher in the EPL (English Premier League) than themselves at the time of the game, so their points reflect this.
Aston Villa are the big sinkers again this week and their position of 15th in the APL seems a little distant from their EPL position of 7th. However, Villa's standard of opponent so far this season has been weak, but unlike Chelsea who have won their games convincingly the Villians have suffered two defeats.
Things are starting to look worrying for West Ham who are yet to win and are beginning to become distanced from the teams above them.
Highest score of week 4:
Blackpool 6.72 points (0-2 win against Newcastle)
Lowest score of week 4:
Aston Villa 1.16 points (2-1 defeat against Stoke)
