Got, Not Got: How to forge a Howard Kendall - the FKS football sticker masterclass

Some blatant evidence of forgery in the snappily titled: 'The Wonderful World of Soccer Stars in Action Picture Stamp Album' from 1969-70...

Having gone to all the trouble of neatly (too neatly?) colouring in Howard Kendall in his classic amber and blue Everton away strip, as well as a team-mate's elbow, this FKS retoucher then let the side down.

All that attention to detail, giving him new eyebrows, a nice smile and even an 18th century style courtiers beauty spot has gone to waste.

He forgot to colour in the players in the background - except for their hoopy, identical socks! - so there appear to be three teams competing in this match... one of which looks suspiciously like Preston North End, Kendall's former club.
