Jonny Evans wants to be Jackie Chan, plus nine other things we learned from Chelsea v Man United
It was the clash of the titans at Stamford Bridge as Chelsea took on Manchester United.
The Blues' win took them five points clear of their north-west rivals, but what else did we learn?
1) Chelsea fans make lousy ball boys. It took three stewards to pile into the stand to get one punter to chuck the ball back to John O’Shea for a throw-in.
2) It must be chilly up front at Stamford Bridge. Attacking trio Didier Drogba, Nicolas Anelka and Deco all felt the need to wear gloves to protect their little fingers from the cold – while the rest of their team-mates braved it like men.
3) And if you're going to wear gloves, shouldn't you wear long sleeves as well? Or is that art, Deco?
4) United are not usually ones to miss a marketing opportunity, or the chance to flog a new replica kit. So why did they not wear their poppies with pride against Chelsea on Remembrance Sunday?
5) Jonny Evans clearly fancies a career as Jackie Chan's understudy. His spectacular kung-fu scissors kick that left Drogba in a heap on the floor would have done the Chanster proud.
6) Manchester United may have a few teething problems – but one fan in the crowd at Stamford Bridge was determined to brush-up on his performance. TV cameras spotted the punter cleaning his teeth behind the dugout. Hmmm, minty fresh...
7) Frank Lampard isn't having his best season in front of goal, but he does like to celebrate. Notice how he always makes sure his picture gets in the papers by mobbing whichever one of his mates has scored.
8) Referee Martin Atkinson loves dishing out yellow cards in the big fixtures. He showed eight during the European clashes between Zurich and Real Madrid and Inter Milan and Dynamo Kiev, but he must have forgotten his red one yesterday. How else do you explain Evans staying on the pitch after his assaults on Drogba and Ricardo Carvalho?
9) Sky's Geoff Shreeves is not one to put words into other people's mouths, as he stated when asking Sir Fergie... "I don't to put words into your mouth, but did the ref cost you the game?" Err, Geoff...
10) Stroppy Wayne Rooney was at his snarling best at Stamford Bridge, moaning and whining about every decision. We don't imagine Coleen asked him to change Kai's nappy last night...
