Portsmouth by Neil McLeman
1) Was the season a success or failure?
Only winning the FA Cup will stop this last year being a total and unmitigated disaster.
2) How did the manager do?
Avram Grant won over the Pompey faithful, if not many matches, with his humility and humour 7/10
3) Player of the season: Jamie O'Hara
The on-loan midfielder from Tottenham, who is currently struggling to get fit for the FA Cup final, has already won nine separate Player of the Year Awards at Fratton Park 9/10
4) Villain of the season: Any of the four owners or chief exec Peter Storrie
For running the club into the ground and failing to apply for UEFA competitions (yes, they're even worse than Papa Bouba Diop)
5) Best signing: Frederic Piquionne
On loan from Lyon, the French striker has scored 11 goals - including both in the FA Cup quarter-final win over Birmingham - to attract interest from other Premier League clubs 7/10
6) Worst signing: Dusko Tosic
The Serbian defender was signed as a free agent in February but the Premier League refused to register him after the club fell into administration. He eventually went out on on loan to QPR 0/10
7) Best game
Against all odds, Pompey beat Tottenham after extra time in the FA Cup semi-final to give the possibility of an unlikely happy ending to the season on May 15. Coming a very close second was the thrashing of local rivals Southampton 4-1 in the fifth round

8) Worst game
Take your pick from 23 Premier League defeats but the worst result was getting a nine-point deduction in March for going into administration.
9) Funniest moment of the season
Avram Grant claiming his Thai masseuse was too old to be a prostitute while his wife Tzofit told him: “He can do whatever he likes with his body.”
10) Key lesson to be learned
Don’t spend more money than you earn.
