Watch emotional new advert starring England legends Stuart Pearce, Peter Shilton and Martin Peters
Ever wondered what it must have felt like to score in the 1966 World Cup Final, or to captain England in a major tournament?
A new advert released this weekend features seven former England players recounting some of their proudest moments wearing the England football shirt. The advert is the first stage in MARS’s "Work Rest Play for England" campaign.
The stars involved include Stuart Pearce, Peter Shilton, Viv Anderson and World Cup final goalscorer Martin Peters. The clip is kicked off by legendary goalkeeper, the oldest living person to have played in a World Cup for England.
England's 1990 Word Cup captain Terry Butcher said: “I will always feel immense pride to have played for my country for a whole decade and I really enjoyed remembering all those marvellous moments wearing the Three Lions. As a massive England fan myself, I’m sure the rest of the country will get goosebumps when they watch the ad.”

MARS, Official Supplier to the England Team, created the advert to celebrate putting the Three Lions on the MARS bar, their first step in the campaign which aims to build excitement around supporting England in South Africa. The new bars will be in-store from this week in England only.
