Ryan Giggs, Diego Maradona, Ricky Villa and the top 10 best dribbled goals
Nicklas Bendtner may have taken the match ball home last night - even though he gave away the fact that it was his first treble by being slightly confused as to why he was being given it - but Samir Nasri was the one who really caught the eye with his fabulous solo effort in the second half.
It was a superb dribbling run and finish from the young Frenchman that drew comparisons with Ricky Villa's FA Cup Final goal or even Archie's Gemmill's famous strike at the 1978 World Cup.
In honour of Nasri's goal, MirrorFootball presents our top 10 of individual, dribbled goals. Obviously we had to cut quite a few out so if your favourite hasn't made the final cut, sign in and let us know why it deserves to be here. Enjoy...
10) The Southampton defence has got used to conceding goals over the years, but not too many have been of the quality of this beauty by Manchester City favourite Georgi Kinkladze at Maine Road in 1996.
9) Zlatan Ibrahimovic's stunning goal for Ajax in 2004 suggests why Barcelona were so keen to break the bank for him this summer. Like a cat toying with its prey, he refuses to put the poor defence out of their misery quickly, preferring to play with them and pretend to shoot three times before eventually firing home. Nice.
8) Paul Gascoigne may have spent most of his time in Italy injured and/or belching, but when he did make it on to the pitch he reminded everyone just why he was such a talent. Watch as he dances his way through the defence to score a cracker for Lazio.
7) George Weah gets in with this peach from 1996. From his own penalty area no less, he runs the entire length of the San Siro pitch before scoring for AC Milan against Verona. Stunning.
6) This goal from Lionel Messi drew comparisons with Maradona's goal against England at the 1986 World Cup. See why for yourself as the young Argentinian mesmerises Getafe at the Nou Camp in the Spanish Cup Semi Final, 2007.
5) Archie Gemmill scores the greatest goal in Scottish football history against Holland at the World Cup in 1978. Favourite goal of Mark Renton from Irving Welsh's Trainspotting, and every other living Scotsman.
4) The goal, the celebration, the chest hair. Ryan Giggs beats the best defence in the country to score one of the most celebrated FA Cup goals of modern times in a semi-final replay against Arsenal at Villa Park in 1999. Put it away Ryan!
3) John Barnes out-Brazils Brazil in their own back yard with this effort against the South Americans in the Maracana in 1984.
2) Ricky Villa was only brought to Tottenham to keep fellow Argentine signing Ossie Ardiles company, yet he went on to give Spurs fans one of their most magical memories. He had even been brought off in the first match for being rubbish, but silenced the critics in the replay with one of the most memorable FA Cup Final goals ever against Man City in 1981.
1) The best ever? Diego Maradona destroys England with the FIFA Goal of the Century for Argentina at the Mexico World Cup, 1986. Commentator Barry Davies showed what a class act he is when he exclaimed: "You have to say that's magnificent," when it went in, minutes after the Hand of God.
