In tribute to Clark Carlisle’s stint on Countdown , Burnley’s teamsheet for Saturday’s loss to Portsmouth listed him as Cralek Sclairel.
When the anagram expert blundered to give Pompey the first of two penalties, one press box joker asked: “Was that Sclairel who cocked up then?”
