Arsenal kid's Facebook faux pas, fan mail for the Neviller and you can bet Etherington and his chairman are mates

Manchester United's demolition of Arsenal last week delighted their supporters. And no-one was more chuffed than the excitable youngster who posted on his Facebook page: "All you gassed up Arsenal fans who fought dey could bring it to United need to pipe down... Arsenal fans lemme know how we cut your defence open, Rooney fort it was Christmas!"

So what? Well, the site is in the name of Zak Ansah - who just happens to be a rising star of Arsenal's Under-16s. "I support United and don't like the way their was no English players in the starting 11 against us!," reads another posting on the site. "United fans H8 Arsenal but it has no effect on how I play 4 dem!”

Reader feedback means everything to us columnists and Gary Neville must be delighted with the response since his thoughts started appearing in Malta's Sunday Times .

Not only has Carlos Tevez called him a "moron" and a "bootlicker", but, says the paper, letters have come in "from a Gozitan who wanted Mr Neville to buy his land, and a Maltese woman who wanted know which of the goals Liverpool scored against United he enjoyed the most."

Revelations that Matthew Etherington is attending Gamblers Anonymous meetings and has his lawyers disputing some old gambling debts must be awkward for his Stoke chairman Peter Coates.

Coates made his fortune from a chain of betting shops and now owns online gambling firm Bet365.
