Balotelli's chat-up technique revealed, plus Routledge is April fool and cheapskate Sven strikes again

At the end of another busy week for Mario Balotelli - who had an £80,000 Maserati vandalised over a mystery feud and then nearly crocked Carlos Tevez in Friday training - 3PM can reveal the stunning chat-up technique which has made him a hit with the ladies of Manchester.

Super Mario doesn’t deal with such matters one-to-one, according to one girl who wasn’t tempted, but instead sends over a friend with the immortal line: “Mr Balotelli wold like to see you now.”

Twitter twit of the week is QPR’s Wayne Routledge, who after reading a report in Friday’s Independent, Tweeted the following: “Can someone talk me thru what I’m seeing? Ronaldo sold to Spain for 160mill?? Does that mean he can jus change country and play for Spain?”

Ten minutes later, Routledge was back on the social network site to add: “Ok, ok...” #aprilfools #gotme”.

During his tenture at Manchester City, staff at Manchester’s Apollo theatre were amused to receive a phone call from Sven Goran Eriksson, wondering if he might be able to blag two tickets to a concert by the lovely Alicia Keys. So no surprise to hear that Svennis recently emailed World Soccer magazine requesting a free subscription which would save the multi-millionaire an all-important £34.50 per year.
