Roman ruined by white line whine

Roman Bednar was hyper-sensitive when Crystal Palace players teased him over his drugs ban during their recent 1-0 win over the striker's West Brom.

The Czech, who served a three-month ban for buying cocaine and cannabis, claims Palace players including captain Shaun Derry were "disgraceful" to shout "here comes the drug dealer" and "have you got any drugs?" during the game.

Oddly, Bednar wasn't so upset about getting similar treatment from his own team-mates. He laughed with the Birmingham Mail this week: "When I finally got back to training, I walked in to find a little package which when I opened was full of white washing powder. That’s the dressing room humour for you."
