Who are the Premier League managers blasted as 'impostors' by Steve Bruce this week?

Steve Bruce showed his class last week with his impressive show of support for under-pressure Toon boss Chris Hughton.

It would have been easy for Bruce to play mind games with Hughton in the build-up to the Tyne-Wear derby, but the Sunderland boss offered his rival his full backing.

“There wouldn’t be a Tyne-Wear derby this season without Chris Hughton’s managerial skills,” was his bold message to the doubters.

And Bruce paid tribute to Hughton’s honesty and dignity in trying times at Newcastle when his future has been put under an intense spotlight because of the Tyneside club’s failure to offer him a new contract after walking away with the Championship last season.

“A proper football bloke” was Bruce’s candid appraisal of his derby rival and he also took time out to blast what he brands the  “impostors” sitting in Premier League dugouts.

Bruce wouldn’t name name’s but it is a safe bet that Hughton and his old Manchester United mentor Sir Alex Ferguson are not on his list.

But I have a strong feeling that the Black Cats manager’s targets are not British.

Any suggestions?
