Beckham's Law is pain in Spain for Jermaine Pennant

Fabulous news from Spain where the government plans to change what has become known as Beckham's Law.

From next year all foreign players who move there will be made to pay an income tax rate of 43%, a huge rise on the 24% rate they introduced in 2002 to lure high-earning foreigners to their shores.

Meaning certain lazy slackers, sorry ambitious geniuses, like Jermaine Pennant will no longer be abel to drop down a level and play out their days in the sun bragging  about being on the equivalent of £90,000-a-week. Magnifico.
