England will need bullet-proof vests in South Africa - if they go out at the quarter-finals again

The German Football Federation has swiftly denied reports that they will force their players to wear bullet-proof vests whenever they leave their hotel during the World Cup in crime-ridden South Africa.
Strangely though, there has been nothing from our FA on the subject. Which is wise. Because should England fail to qualify from their group, or go out in the last 16 on penalties, bullet-proof vests may just be the order of the day when they leave their hotel en route to another early flight home.
