Losing Jack Rodwell could be last straw at Everton for David Moyes
The two Manchester clubs are reputedly set to compete for the signature of Everton whizzkid Jack Rodwell. But if I were in the Everton hierarchy I'd tread very carefully here.
After losing Wayne Rooney to United and Joleon Lescott to City, letting 18-year-old Rodwell scoot down the M62, would not only confirm that the Blues have become a feeder club for neighbours with deeper pockets, it could be the straw that breaks David Moyes's loyalty.
