Why Hull City story shows fans there is a point to dreaming impossible dreams

Hope for all fans who believe there's no point dreaming impossible dreams.
It's September 1, 2001. You're a Hull City fan. Your team lies in the middle of the Third Division (the Fourth Division in old money), round about 80th in the English pro rankings.
You're celebrating in your local after seeing an England front six of Gerrard, Scholes, Beckham, Barmby, Heskey and Owen destroy the Germans 5-1 in Munich.
A drunk says he dreamed that score last night. He also dreamed two other unlikely events. He tells you them. Which one would you have found the least credible?
(1) In 10 days' time Muslim fanatics will fly passenger planes into New York's Twin Towers, killing nearly 3,000 people and changing the world forever.
(2) In a few years Hull will be an established Premier League side, with one of those England front six playing for them (Barmby) and another (Owen) considering a move?
Me too. As the ad men say: Impossible is nothing.
