Women! Confused about the offside rule? Don't worry, the men don't know the rules either

I rarely address items specifically to women readers, but this has to be said.
If you are ever again patronised by men about your inability to comprehend the subtleties of the offside law, just mention Sunderland, October 17, 2009.
Then ask how four male officials, plus two male managers did not know that a goal should be disallowed if the ball bounces into the net off a dirty big red balloon.
P.S. If foreign agents are now viewed as undesirables inside football grounds can I be the first to call for a lifetime ban on Pini Zahavi?
