Why Manchester United must drop star flops like Berbatov to win title, by Stan Collymore

Manchester United's blip is in danger of turning into a crisis and I expect Sir Alex Ferguson to react by dropping some big names.
United may still be on course for five trophies but performances which saw them lose at Fulham must be eradicated quickly.
Following the 4-1 home defeat to Liverpool, it means United suffered back-toback losses in the league for the first time since April 2005.
And it wouldn't surprise me if Sir Alex, the quality manager that he is, makes some heads roll.
A prime candidate for the axe must be the club's £30million record signing Dimitar Berbatov.
The sulky Bulgarian striker came off at half-time after failing to make much of an impression.
I will give Berbatov a little slack as it is possible the former Spurs star picked up a knock. But I still think he lacks the ability of Eric Cantona.
People were raving about him being the next Cantona, but he doesn't have the ability to stamp his authority on a game like the Frenchman.
I am not convinced Berbatov (left) has what it takes to push United on in the Champions League or Premier League.
And bringing him off at half-time may show Sir Alex is losing faith as well.
The problems are mounting for United with Wayne Rooney and Paul Scholes being sent off too.
Their looming suspensions are another massive blow, while Ronaldo was back to his worst with his diving and other petulant antics.
The Portuguese winger's immature behaviour is just one reason why United are so unpopular and their fans bad losers.
I still think United will retain the title, and they surely have the easiest draw in the Champions League against Porto as they seek to defend the competition.
