Gary Cahill's blow is sad, but save your sympathy for the family of John Taylor

You can only feel sorry for Gary Cahill after the news that his World Cup dream is over because of a blood clot on his arm.
Bolton boss Owen Coyle claims his star defender will be out for the rest of the season, dashing his hopes of forcing his way on to the plane for South Africa.
Cahill has developed rapidly at Bolton and is emerging into one of the best young English defenders, alongside Ryan Shawcross.
He would not have let Capello down if he had gone to this summer's World Cup.
But he will have other chances and he will still be young enough in 2014.
A real tragedy was the death of Blackburn fan John Taylor at the weekend.
The Ewood Park season-ticket holder and dad of one set off with his mates on Saturday to watch Rovers play at Stoke.
But 24 hours later he was dead after apparently being struck on the head by a metal bin at the Britannia Stadium.
He died in his mother's arms on Sunday morning and such pitiful stories put football - and all its disappointments - in proper context.
