It's Harry's gain as Tottenham emerge as the transfer window winners
Harry Redknapp has once again wheeled and dealed his way through the transfer market.
Tottenham are now genuine contenders for the top four places, having strengthened their squad significantly after the summer.
But they should have been realistic and allowed David Bentley to leave, even if it meant taking a large slice out of their original transfer fee of £15million last summer.
Bentley will be worth a lot less in January, or next summer, if Redknapp does not give him a fair crack of the whip.
That aside, Tottenham are the big winners from the transfer window and they and Manchester City have the squad to challenge the top four's domination of the Champions League places.
