Arsenal fans have never had it so good, and never will again
Those disaffected Arsenal fans who are growing restless and impatient with Arsene Wenger should remember Tuesday night and the glow they felt on Wednesday.
Arsenal's demolition job of Porto was footballing poetry. Arshavin, Bendtner and Nasri all played their part in one of the best Champions League performances for quite a while.
Arsenal are in the hunt on two fronts, chasing the Champions League and Premier League as they look to win their first silverware in five years.
But should they finish empty-handed - still a real possibility even though Wenger says a Champions League place is better than a domestic cup - I urge Arsenal fans to remember this week when they are stamping their feet at the end of the season.
It will inevitably come, too. Arsenal don't win anything and those dissenting voices call for change. I think Wenger has made some mistakes and should have bought in January. But time for change? No chance.
This week should make every Arsenal fan realise that they have never had it so good, will never have it as good again - even if someone else takes over - and should start appreciating what they have in Wenger. A managerial genius.
But even Wenger is not getting carried away. Just read what he said about the future of some of his players this week as he prepared for the Porto game.
"As you say many times, we haven't won anything yet," he smiled. "So let's focus on that. Let's focus on winning something first and then we see what we do with the players."
Arsenal's injury list is not an insult to the Emirates' medical staff
