Why Harry Redknapp has to be the next England boss

The FA have made it clear that the next manager must be English.
England do not need so much of a manager as a motivator. There is one outstanding candidate who fits both counts: Harry Redknapp.
Redknapp is the manager England need to tell the likes of Wayne Rooney and Steven Gerrard they can be the best in the world and lift them for games.
Redknapp is a good coach rather than tactician. But his pride and passion brings out the best in players. That’s something England definitely require.
England need to get the maximum out of their players.

Rafael van der Vaart going to Tottenham was by far and away the best deal of the transfer window.
Van der Vaart has super vision, is a great passer and almost plays the Steven Gerrard role at Liverpool when he plays behind the main striker.
The Dutchman will score goals and supply chances. And, importantly for Spurs, he also has Champions League pedigree. He’s been at Ajax, Hamburg, Real Madrid and now Tottenham.
He’s a good communicator and on the pitch a really terrific footballer.
