Every day at Everton shows why Moyes is such a remarkable boss

The day David Moyes looks for a new challenge away from Goodison Park is the day Everton should be worried.

Until then, Moyes will carry on working miracles with a few slip-ups along the way. And he is performing miracles. Nothing short of.

In the summer, they sold Mikel Arteta, Jermaine Beckford and Yakubu. But no big signings to replace them. Yet this season they are still competitive. How long is it since they made a big signing?

Moyes has a good relationship with Bill Kenwright and, for him, it's an open secret that he would stand aside if a buyer came in.

To work under such testing conditions is remarkable and just shows what a remarkable manager Moyes continues to be.

The third round weekend is, along with the final weekend of the Premier League season, my favourite of the season.

Upsets, giant killings, fairytales and next door neighbour heroes. It's the weekend made for the radio as they can switch between games to where the drama unfolds.

I'm at Macclesfield for the visit of Bolton and they will be hoping for an upset. There's usually one but I found it hard to pick one out this weekend, not least because the gap is always so difficult to overcome.

Wigan may be vulnerable at Swindon. But you fancy them to play well enough at a point during the game to get least a draw.

You can bet there will be an upset and a story somewhere. But the beauty is that we just don't know where.
