Portsmouth's plight seems a mirror image of a certain other club (Hint: the other team wears black and white)

From the moment, Portsmouth’s new owner sat in the stands in a club shirt with his name on the back you knew it was going to be a nightmare.

A nightmare for Paul Hart who is now left going for Championship players who would not have been on Portsmouth’s radar a year ago.

But with the club only going one way, those are the sort of players you can attract. They have sold the goals in the team and their defensive backbone.

I’m loath to even mention the name of the owner again because he obviously likes his name in lights. But just think about who it reminds you of and what happened to his great club...
