I have seen the future of international football. Its name is Islam Feruz.
He's 14, the son of Somali asylum seekers. He's the first beneficiary of a FIFA rule designed to encourage social cohesion.
Feruz dominated his debut for Scotland schoolboys, scoring the only goal against Wales.
He's got pace, composure, technical ability, and an unfashionable hunger.
Celtic, his current club, will struggle to hold on to him.
