Who do you believe – Arsene Wenger or David Moyes?
Both are good men, outstanding managers. Each defends his players ferociously.
And that’s the clue.
Everyone in football concocts half truths.
Cesc Fabregas has a history of tunnel rage.
It’s easier to imagine him challenging officials’ honesty, than Moyes making it all up.

The image had a terrible resonance.
It smacked of sickness and stupidity.
I hope Liverpool fans, who burned a shirt bearing the name of Fernando Torres, are proud of themselves.
Their mock outrage for the cameras demeaned a great club and denied a great cause.
