Spurs fans need to be patient with Robbie Keane because he is a class act
Robbie Keane continues to attract criticism from Spurs fans over his form.
But I would urge Tottenham supporters to get behind the striker because I feel he is a class act.
It can’t have been easy for Robbie, 29, given the problems surrounding his ill-fated move from Spurs to Anfield in July 2008.
But now he is back at White Hart Lane after returning in January and he can still be one of the Premier League’s best forwards.
Keane has a creditable eight goals this season - including one at the weekend in the win over Sunderland.
And he is top quality in terms of his technical ability and he always gives 100 per cent.
I don’t know whether he is carrying a bit of a knock or is lacking a little confidence right now, but I am sure he will come good soon.
