Stoke have the most passionate fans outside Rangers and Celtic
Stoke City continue to show they are in the top-flight on merit.
And I believe the unfashionable Potters are on course for a respectable mid-table finish.
Glenn Whelan and Tony Pulis came on my talkSPORT show after their fine win at Spurs.
They finished 12th last season and I am sure they will improve on that this term.
When they signed Tuncay in the summer from Middlesbrough a lot of people perhaps expected Stoke to adopted a sexier style of football.
But their team ethic remains the priority and expect Stoke City home and away to still make it really difficult for opposition teams.
I have no complaints at their style and fan for fan they have the most passionate support this side of the Old Firm.
So there is very much a place for Stoke City in the top-flight and I have enormous respect for their wily manager Pulis.
