Middlesbrough chiefs have short memories if they sacked Gareth Southgate for low gates
Gareth Southgate was sacked because of dwindling gates.
As someone who has been at The Riverside before Southgate's time and when Middlesbrough were in the Premier League and still couldn't sell out, I find that excuse is tenuous at best.
