Who will have more punch at Old Trafford: the Reds corner, or the Blues?
Manchester United
United’s spine is strong and experienced with Van der Sar, Ferdinand and Vidic although Evra and certainly Rafael or Fabio can be attacked down the flanks.
Antonio Valencia will certainly start against Ashley Cole and try to push the Chelsea defender back towards his own goal, however, it is who Sir Alex picks up front that could be the key to the match.
Will he go with Rooney and Hernandez or drop Wayne back into left midfield and go 4-3-3 to match Ancelotti’s selection?
Chelsea
Selection’s simple for Carlo Ancelotti – Drogba must start. He scored the winner at Old Trafford last year and loves the big occasions.
It has to be 4-3-3 for Ancelotti but this Chelsea side doesn’t have to win straight away.
Two recent Champions League defeats to United might still be quite fresh in their minds but have Chelsea used up all this season’s luck against Spurs?
Terry Butcher's verdict:
An early goal could help but I see it finishing as a hard fought draw (a good bet at 9-4), which will suit United.
