Foxes flying high, but is the end nigh?
Milan Mandaric has gone through 13 managers in a decade owning football clubs.
And Leicester City fans will be dismayed to hear that all is not sweetness and light in the relationship with current boss Nigel Pearson.
The Foxes manager enjoys cult status around Leicester after guiding them to the Division One title last May and maintaining their impressive form by mounting an immediate promotion campaign from the Championship. But with a long-awaited return to the Premier League on the horizon, contract talks between Pearson and the club have petered out.
The Mole hears Pearson is prepared to see out the remaining 18 months of his current deal if the club won’t table a decent review.
Pearson is City’s sixth manager three years since Mandaric took over at Leicester. He had seven during his days at Portsmouth.
