Fulham foe Kevin Blom is one weak whistler
Blunder ref Kevin Blom is under fire at home and abroad. Fulham officials were astonished by the Dutchman’s handling of their Europa League clash with Roma. Blom sent off Erik Nevland and Paul Konchesky for offences that would not have merited a yellow card in England.
Blom also had a nightmare in the Ajax-Feyenoord clash last Sunday. He sent off two Feyenoord players but missed a blatant elbow by Ajax striker Luis Suarez.
Blom revealed how weak he was on TV. A pundit said Blom should have shown a red card for the elbow and he said: “If that’s your opinion, I think I go along with it.”
