Milan will sell Alexandre Pato this summer to fund a bid for Robin van Persie, according to reports in Italy.
The Brazilian striker nearly joined his former coach Carlo Ancelotti at PSG in January before pulling out of the move.
The collapse of the transfer meant Milan could not sign Carlos Tevez.
But Corriere dello Sport claims today that Pato, who has suffered his 13th injury since 2010 and is set to miss the Champions League second leg match at Arsenal next week, will now be sold.
And Milan striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has told the club he wants the Arsenal captain as his replacement.
Van Persie is out of contract next summer but Arsenal are ready to offer him a £4m signing on fee to prolong his stay at the Emirates.
