Frustrated Arsenal keeper wants a move

Young Arsenal keeper Damian Martinez wants out on loan for the rest of the season - to step up his football education.

The 18-year-old Argentinian has starred for the reserves but remains fourth in line for a first-team game, and his advisers have now asked Gunners boss Arsene Wenger to find him a temporary home in the lower divisions.

Martinez is happy to drop down a level or two, just like Arsenal's current No.1 keeper Wojciech Szczesny did when he went on loan to League One side Brentford at a similar age two years ago.
