Birmingham extend trial of Argentine striker

Birmingham have extended the trial of teenage Argentine striker Julian Cardellino.
The youngster, 18, has played in several reserve games and friendlies for Championship Brum since arriving earlier this month.
He has impressed City’s staff by scoring numerous times and his assessment, which was due to end today (Monday) has been extended.
Cardellino is also crucially due to get a European passport in May which will enable him to avoid requiring a work permit.
Blues are now considering signing Cardellino permanently from Club Atletico Kimberley of Argentina in the summer.
