Birmingham swoop for Rooney (no, really)

Birmingham have signed former Inverness striker Adam Rooney on a two-year-deal.
The 23-year-old - no relation to Manchester United and England striker Wayne Rooney - was a free agent after his contract with Inverness expired at the end of last season.
He scored 21 goals in 42 games for the Clydesdale Bank Premier League club during the 2010-2011 campaign.
He becomes City's fourth signing of close season after Marlon King, Chris Burke and Morgaro Gomis.
