Rovers set to beat Vitesse Arnhem to £2m midfielder

Blackburn boss Steve Kean is ready to make Partizan Belgrade midfielder Radosav Petrovic his first cash signing of the window in a £2m deal today.
Petrovic was due to join Dutch side Vitesse Arnhem but Rovers have stepped in as they adjust their aim and chase cheaper targets.

Kean has only landed free agent Myles Anderson so far and missed out on players because of a cash shortage.
However Rovers are trying to price up a move for Spanish legend Raul, who may be available for a low fee from Schalke, and they are also looking at young talent from Brazil.
