Blackburn snubbed in midfielder loan attempt

Blackburn boss Steve Kean will have to buy United States midfielder Jermaine Jones after being snubbed in an attempt to take him on loan for a second time.

Jones’s German club Schalke have turned down the request and want a fee, with Roma and Stoke City also interested.
