Blackpool want golden oldie Kevin Phillips to help fire them back to the Premier League.

Boss Ian Holloway is ready to offer the 37-year-old a 12-month deal after missing out on Robert Earnshaw, who has rejoined Cardiff from Nottingham Forest.

Phillips is a free agent after leaving Birmingham following their relegation to the Championship.
