Manchester United are in a titanic signing battle with Real Madrid to sign Brazil's next young superstar - Sao Paulo attacking midfielder Lucas - in a £12million deal.
United have invited the 19-year-old's father to Old Trafford for talks and want to agree a move for the kid who is rated the next best thing to Neymar in his homeland.
The teenage sensation has already been capped 11 times by his country and United want to buy him now before his price gets higher, but they are already facing formidable competition.
Madrid are already in talks with the Lucas camp and want the family to commit to them as one of the summer's big transfer scrambles steps up. United boss Sir Alex Ferguson hopes that the lure of his club - and a better chance of regular starting football - will win the day but it will take an almighty effort.
Lucas, a small but super-skilled midfielder, has been a wanted boy since making his debut 18 months ago and he has clocked up 70 senior appearances already for Sao Paulo.
All of the top clubs in the world have looked and made inquiries, but it seems to have come down to two of the greatest names around for his signature.
Will it be a case of the Moura merrier with Lucas at United? Check him out in action here:
