Carlo Ancelotti has advised old club AC Milan to raid his former employers Chelsea for either Didier Drogba or Nicolas Anelka in the January transfer window.
Milan, the reigning Serie A champions, are looking for an experienced striker after Antonio Cassano was ruled out for the rest of the season following heart surgery.
And ex-Blues boss Ancelotti said Drogba and Anelka, who are both out of contract at the end of the season, would be ideal replacements.
“Certainly – they are great players in good physical condition,” said the Italian, who coached Milan for seven seasons.
“They are players of great quality and attitude. I would see both of them fitting in very well at Milan - but that doesn’t that one of the two are going to go.”
Ancelotti also denied rumours he is set to take over as boss of Ligue 1 leaders Paris Saint Germain.
“I want to stay in England,” he stated.
