Liverpool midfielder claims he is close to joining Milan

Alberto Aquilani has claimed he is close to joining Milan.

The Serie A champions want to take the Italian midfielder on loan while Liverpool are seeking a £6million fee.

Aquilani said: “I’m close to joining Milan.”
