Marseille defender Cesar Azpilicueta says he would be open to a potential move to Chelsea.
The 22-year-old has been strongly linked with a switch to Stamford Bridge, as Blues boss Andre Villas-Boas looks for a replacement for Jose Bosingwa, who has struggled this season.
The Spanish right-back says he has not yet heard from Chelsea, but would consider a move if a deal could be agree with his current club.
“For me, these are just rumours. There has been no contact, and I am still bound to OM until 2014,” the right-back told L’Equipe.
“Now, if the leaders of Chelsea want me, they should first discuss that with OM. If a proposal comes, I will think about it.
“It is more difficult to start in the national team when you do not play at a great club. You have to be at Real Madrid or Barcelona.
“But I feel good today at OM,” the youngster added.
Azpilicueta signed for Marseille in June 2010 and has made 45 appearances for the Ligue 1 side.
