Middlesbrough move for £1.75m Coventry striker

Middlesbrough boss Tony Mowbray is making a new bid to sign Coventry City striker Lukas Jutkiewicz to fire his promotion bid.
Mowbray is trying to agree a fee with the struggling Sky Blues that would see the former Everton hit man join Boro on loan with a view to a £1.75 million full-time transfer.
Jutkiewicz is key to Coventry's survival hopes and they are hanging on for more cash, but Boro keep chipping away after missing out on him at the start of the campaign.
Mowbray has seen his early front-runners slip back because of a lack of a proven centre striker and the powerful young forward fits his bill perfectly.
